PROJECT SONGLINE

The Numburindi Dancers are undertaking a journey of healing around Victoria over a two week period. They will perform at locations that have been affected by the recent devastating bushfires. Titled "Project Songline", the group aims to help with bringing back the spirit of life and regeneration to the land, communities and affiliated service organisations.

Ernest Numamurdirdi, lead Elder of the group, commented: "We wanted to come because of the wild bushfires, to help support people here and to share with local Indigenous people the similarities and differences between our cultures."
